Specialized Concrete Products for a Data Center
The new data center complex in Petah Tikva features a server farm at the core of a two-story building constructed above two basement levels. The facility includes a gallery, technical areas, offices, storage spaces, and an upper roof area of approximately 3,400 sq m. The server farm was built across 8,800 sq m within the basement levels, alongside dedicated technical zones.
The construction of a data center requires exceptionally high engineering standards and a high level of execution precision to ensure the stability of server systems. The emphasis is on durability, watertightness, and long-term resilience. As part of the construction process, concrete was poured from a height of approximately 8 meters, large column-free spans were created, and creative solutions were required to form slopes and provide internal drainage.
Israbeton supplied nearly 20,000 cu m of lightweight concrete incorporating lightweight aggregates, along with crystalline additives that improved water resistance by chemically sealing capillaries and microcracks.
